3 hours | £52Step away from the December rush and join us for an unhurried afternoon of warming movement, traditional festive crafting, warming cacao, and deep winter rest.
As the days shorten and the year draws to a close, it is all too easy to get swept up in the busyness of the season. This three-hour sanctuary is an invitation to pause, come back into your body, and celebrate the quiet beauty of early winter in warm, welcoming company.
Whether you come alone for a few hours of quiet restoration or join us with a friend, you will leave feeling deeply rested, grounded, and holding a handmade brass keepsake to hang in your home for winters to come.
HOW THE AFTERNOON WILL UNFOLD
Arrival & The Winter Centerpiece
Step out of the crisp December air into a warm, candlelit studio with a cup of spiced herbal tea in hand. We will begin by gathering around a basket of locally foraged winter foliage - pine, holly, winter berries, and seed heads, taking a moment to set a personal intention for the month ahead as we collectively build a seasonal nature centerpiece at the heart of our space.
Warming Yoga & Grounding Meditation
Once settled on our mats, we’ll open with a guided, grounding meditation to quieten the mind and bring us fully into the afternoon. We’ll move through a nourishing, accessible yoga practice designed to shake off the winter chill, release tension held in the shoulders and hips, and gently awaken the body.
Festive Brass Ornament Crafting, Tea & Sweet Treats
Moving over to our communal crafting table, the kettle will go on alongside a spread of seasonal sweet treats and herbal teas. Guided step-by-step, you’ll work with delicate, malleable brass to hand-emboss and shape your own intricate hanging decorations. Using simple hand tools to press botanical and winter motifs into the warm golden metal, this is a wonderfully mindful, tactile craft that requires no artistic experience at all.
Cacao, Somatic Unwinding & Candlelit Restorative Yoga
As dusk settles outside and the studio shifts into candlelight, we will return to our mats with a warm cup of rich ceremonial cacao. Known for its gentle, comforting warmth, cacao invites us to soften and turn inward. From here, we’ll melt into slow, floor-based somatic movement and deeply supported restorative postures, closing the afternoon with an extended meditation and savasana to leave your nervous system completely replenished.
